this is the soccer field by our house-
I love it so much and always want to take pic there- but never seem to have the time...
but today we had a total of a little over 6 hours of NO POWER (the whole town just lost power for no apparent reason) so Emmy and I had a LOT of time on our hands for some picture taking...
She didn't feel like smiling however- goo.
But she was VERY content to be enjoying the nature around her.
she LOVED this little staircase to nowhere-
She actually always lifts her arms for me to pick her up now and when on the rock she never lifted them once.
So, Emmy's newest thing is that she LOVES to be "startled" and Jason is the man for the job.
Here she is loving him- then all of the sudden he would tickle her- or bark- yes bark and she jumps and then laughs so hard.
What a little kooky coo.

She was in my lap and bonked on the edge of the table... waaa.
I'm glad I got this picture-- this is her new thing-- she does this with her tongue all of the time.
She doesn't seem any worse for the wear... she only cried for a minute and then was miss giggle pants.
I'm sure it's the first of many bumps and bruises-I hate to think of it.
My sweet husband carrying our groceries the 79 miles home from the store (ok, it's not that far and it feels way less when he is the one carrying the bags :)
Look Dr. Chalmers- TING!!! we are bringing some home for you :)
the Dr. who delivered Emmy (Dr. Chalmers) told us about the delicious soda TING- it's a favorite of mine-- Emmy's too if the bubbles are dead...
So we found a cart in a local store-- I was SO excited-- Emmy was not--don't worry, I took this pic as Jason was grabbing her (we aren't child abusers)... the thing I don't understand is why she felt like her foot might help in this situation.
Kelly- get one of these sponges... it's a life saver :)
She LOVES to shower with Mom, Dad, Josh, Papa or Booky.

My studly brother Dave- he is coming to Dominica in late August and we can't wait!

Yes, Jason is a little chubbier (he has lost a ton of weight) but he is amazing!

it's been an intense week- first pizza, then Ice CREAM- we are on our way to childhood obesity!
