Emmy has seen pictures of her cousin Jordan with his puppy and she was a little jealous...

so who needs a pedicure place?! ok- me (I ache for those bubble soaks, massaging chairs and magic hands of the pedicure woman or man) ! but this is about as Halloweeny as toes can get in Dominica!

Thankfully Josh brought down a puppy for her when he came :)

POOL Party!

Ok- so this morning Emmy learned the sound for "what does a ghost say?" in honor of halloween... I will video her doing it - but here is her face when she makes the noise- so so cute!

ok- so, Dave needs to make money while he is here- so that he can pay for school...

one of his MANY money making endeavors is to catch, boil, clean and then sell Spiny urchins...

yes, he really has sold some of them and I think his sales will pick up when everyone goes home for Christmas and will need to bring island gifts- these are nasty little fellows when they are alive though- they are appropriately named and actually try to poke you (at least I believe that the one I was playing with a while ago really did try to poke me with his HUGE needle spine) and when they poke you they put some kind of pain inducing poison in you...needless to say this is dangerous work!

Secret Beach and Emmy's first boat ride :)

this is a pic I took from the boat- Secret Beach can only be gotten to by boat- so Emmy and I went with a group of Ross spouses today- it was VERY fun!

Emmy didn't know how she felt about the whole boat ride thing...

I was happy about it though :)

see our friends on the secret beach- the water was PERFECT- just cool enough to be refreshing (Emmy loved swimming)- it was SUPER clear, tons of fun fish and best of all... I saw a sea turtle while I was snorkelling- it was a GREAT day :)
