what do you do when Jason was at the ER all night long from 8pm-7am? Emmy and I went to Burger King- at 8:30 am so that J could sleep (here she is playing in her jammies- ghetto!)- we then went to our clubhouse and showered and then swam in the baby pool and finally went home to wake up Daddy at 1:00 pm- let's just say- he isn't going to be an ER doc. thank heavens!

It is COOKIE time of year- yes that makes my life a pretty happy one! (last year we made cookies with Liz Prince and I must say I missed her this year.)

Halloween outfits- I thought I would just do one post with them all~

Here we are with our pirate booty- Emmy LOVED trick o treating- she really enjoyed knocking on doors- sometimes would say trick o treat and sometimes would say thank you- but she really loved the candy part- she would often hold out her bag and then after the person gave her candy she would hold out her hand... thank heavens she's cute!

It's Weirdy Wednesday again...

I hesitate to even post this- BUT Emmy's belt is darling right?--- it's a dog collar- seriously- to get the length of jean that we need for those gorgeous legs, the waist is ALWAYS too big (even when they are the "long and lean" style {proving that she may not be mine...}) and I can't find a belt that fits that little waisty- soooo dog collar it is- and yes- it IS cute!

One of Emmy's favorite places to be- wedged in the bed- weirdy.

She usally ends up getting stuck after laughing like crazy...

If she can't work her way out she calmly says "help! help!" until I get her out- love her.

Random cuteness-

Emmy LOVES to smell everything from candles to laundry detergent to perfume- but she most especially LOVES to smell flowers.

One of the MANY MANY adorable outfits that Grammy sent- I made the bow to match it perfectly and I must say- she is edible in this little dress!

Yet another cute hair day- there was an "X" under the little ponies but you can't really see it.

The Cooks (minus BJ) are in AMERICA!!

Emmy was reunited with her BFF and first nursery teacher- yay!

Yes- here we all in the USA- it's weird- but so very fun.

Crafty Crafty~

I made some bows for Emmy- she loved them- all at once.

Puppy Love~

Our land lady's dog had 3 puppies-

and Emmy is in love-

she couldn't be happier-

they have been our main entertainment as of late-

and honestly- how could they not be- they are sooooo cute- and I don't even like dogs...

I can't say the same for Ems- she has inherited the Frederick love of dogs-

part of it is that she gets to be their mommy-

and tell them where to go (here she is beckoning- and showing them where they should be)

I love this shot because, those are supposed to be leggings- not baggy pirate pants- ha!

she is a little nervous of the kisses- and says oooooowwie after each one- seriously...

but she loves to play with them and I'm happy that she has something sooooo fun to do!

OK- I need to EDIT this post- for some reason this first pic and part didn't post last time-- Uncle Josh blows the bubble for Emmy and THEN she holds it in her mouth and acts like she blew it-- sorry to get everyone excited :) !

Weirdy Wednesday!

In Miami there are toads the size of puppies :) Emmy LOVES them.

Emmy's BEST friend is her bunny (it's really Uncle Josh's but he is kind enough to share) the LARGE bunny goes everywhere with us- yay.

This is the BEST part of our post for several reasons... the first- Emmy got her BiRtHdAy package from Grammy and Grampy- it was VERY very fun and there are more cute pics to come- but the second part is almost as good~

Please note that the box says "Emmerson 12 yrs old"- if the pic was better you would be able to see that the 1 is in a different marker- only adding the the greatness of this story... so, we have HORRIBLE neighbors- everything bad that you can imagine- and the irresponsible post man dropped our package at their house- NICE- they then dishonestly opened the box- though their name isn't Emmy or Emmerson Frederick- and no one there is turning 2-- after a series of events- they returned the box to us- opened, gone through (with nothing missing- thank HEAVENS they don't have a 2 yr old girl!) but with the 2 changed to "12"- they do have a 12 yr old- so maybe it was that someone sent a happy 12 yrs birthday to their kid- and that someone wanted to call their kid Emmerson... maybe that's why they opened it! I'm sure it seemed like a logical coverup to them at the time!
