I gave birth to bliss!

My mom just Emmy (who has declared WAR on sleep today) to the park- so I have 5 minutes to blog and then it is off to a nap! That said- this post has a LOT of pics and not many words-
Her hair is very crazy- depending on the light it is a mirad or different colors- and it was CRAZY curly, swirly- but then the bath made it straight- kind of-- it is always VERY thick and cute as can be ;)

those gorgeous "I just came out" pics
Josh was our number 1 photographer and uncle of the day ;)
yes- you read that correctly- she carries her weight well- but she is HUGE! (yet still so tiny- Emmy was almost 3 lbs lighter?)
Sweet bonfing moments-
Emmy and Papa seeing Elle Belle for the first time- so cute.

The first time holding her-

introductions!

first kiss :)
Emmy spreading the good news-she loved her Ellie- my "owie" not so much- though she was equally fascinated with both...

We feel sooo blessed that Penelope Jane has joined our family and could not be happier that she is here!

The Celebration Hospital- yes it looks like a resort- there is theme music as you walk in- LOVE that!
My mom got to be at Ellie's birth too- Jason's fam and some of ours joined us on phones and computers...it was a PARTY!
We have this exact pic from when I was pregnant with Emmy-
and this one too- I wanted them to be about to have the same pics ;)
J and I getting ready to be mom and daddy times 2!

I got to have Amber come for this birth! Last time, Nicole came and I missed her this time- but last time, I missed Amber- so I guess that whatever state I am in- I am blessed to have a friend!

Penelope Jane Frederick arrived just before 4:00 pm after about 5 pushes!
she weighed 8lbs 12 onces (WHAT?!)
and was 20.5 inches long
she has a dark curly wig (I think there might be some auburn once her hair is washed)
and blue eyes at the moment-
oh I LOVE her!
Emmy loves her too-
but Daddy might love her most...
more pics to come- but I am very tired...

Green Meadow Petting Farm

We have been having such a jam packed fun time lately- I just want Emmy to have as many fun memories as possible before we add a new adorable person to the mix ;) Isn't this the world's most precious picture- I just love it!
We went to this VERY fun place- Emmy got to hold her first chick and duckling-
and Chicken- obviously, the most exciting- maybe because it was as big as she was!
Uncle Josh was the hero of the day and caught everything so that Emmy could enjoy it.
and hug it- she was all about the animal hugging...
Emmy is so brave- she just goes in there with what to her should be MONSTER sized animals and pets-hugs-sits down with-and feeds them. (with the help of Booky- it is amazing having Booky around because Emmy gets to have all of these experiences and I get to take pics of it- without it being a dangerous situation- we LOVE Booky!) anyways- she is fearless!
She also did an amazing job of being gentle- or "chaantle" in Emmy-ese...
Emmy also got to ride her very first pony!!! she LOVED it thought that she was all that- so fun.
AND she got to milk her first cow- a feat her father still has not accomplished- sad.
To top off the amazingness of this place they also have a playground with swings- Emmy declared herself to be Peter Pan and flew in the swing the whole time.
These are so funny- her cousin, Ryan, has the cutest picture in front of these wings- our pictures... not so cute- the one on the left is the attack of the evil butterfly (I had to include it) and the one on the right is the very best one we got- wow.

Tie Dying- GO PACKERS!

For Family Home Evening both Emmy and JASON got to have their very first tie dying experience-
It was GRAND- so so fun - we went with a Green Bay color theme- in honor of the superbowl.
Josh helped Emmy with her shirt and did his own-
I can't believe that this was Jason's first tie dye time- it shocks me- but he really loved it.
All of our shirts turned out perfectly- as most tie dyes do :)

Princess! Princess!

Emmy never just says "Princess"- it's always twice (as in our title post)-
We FINALLY did it- Emmy got dressed up like a princess and we went to Disney-
I'm so happy that we got to do this as one little last special thing as a family of three-(J and Princess Ems resting at the Grand Floridian- one of Disney's resorts)
Here is Emmy's prince charming preparing her pumpkin coach...
Here they are on the boat- can't you just feel the excitement?! I love Disney.
A back and side view- there is a Bibbity Bobitty Bootique- that believe me, we would have loved to go to- where little girls go to get all princessed up- we did the ghetto version- where I did Emmy's hair and got her a cheaper than Disney Store priced dress- the end result was GRAND and we didn't even have to pay the $140.00 (yes you read that correctly)
and Emmy still felt beautiful- she in fact, may have felt too beautiful- she decided that she had to have a posed picture with everything at Disney and Downtown Disney- this dragon for example.
and the Daisy and Donald- she always says "picture" or stands there saying "cheeeeese" until I snap a few of her ;) I love it.
this is Princess Emmy's worried face- and she is worried about quite a lot- here she needed some apples- that is our latest OBSESSION.
We started our day posing with the "fake Princesses" just in case she fell alseep~
and because we parked near them- we ended our day as well- note that she just got "cheesier" as the day moved on...
She really loved these princesses- and I thought it was good practice for the real thing.
Here they are twinners and BFF- I loved that even their hair matched- so so cute- Emmy loved each one and talked to them like crazy- funny that she is nervous with all kinds of normal people- but she just knew that these princesses where her kindred spirits.
When they opened the door Aurora was standing there and took Emmy's hand and off they went chatting and already loving each other- it really was so precious.
Only Disney could make such a magical moment- look at how happy she is with Belle- seriously!
The many faces of the tired little Princess as we headed back to our car- it was a FABULOUS day and I wouldn't have changed a thing- although I DO hope that I go into labor tonight- that would just be the icing on the cake ;)
