He isn't super wild about binkies-- but adores his daddy's thumb 

All dressed up and ready to go get his heel pricked again at the hospital the light said his billi was 10.8- not very accurate.  Day 3 his billi was  14.8-- awesome. Day 4 was 15.4 -- seriously. They gave us the billi blanket and my milk finally came in- and today it's 14.6 yippee!! One more night of glowing and he is good to go!

The great news is he is already back to

His birth weight plus a tiny bit! Such a little stud :) 

Emmy has a new love- finally!!!

Emmy has been very sick- she got sick the Sunday night before the Monday induction- if you are doing the math you'll note that she has had a fever for a whole week now- what a nightmare! She tested positive for strep and then reacted to the antibiotic with an itchy rash-- all the while throwing up, and needing to run to the toilet constantly...she has been very listless - due to the fever and lack of nutrients in her body... So sad. But finally today she is on a new antibiotic and seems to be feeling a little better. So much better in fact that she could finally enjoy her little brother! And she insisted on wearing a dress- and wanted to go out- 

Here she is-- Cavan didn't disappoint- we've been talking for months now about him peeing all over everything - which he did his first diaper change witnessed by the girls- and how he would spit up on everyone at some point-- which he did this morning when he got Emmy's foot. 

I just love this.

Cavan's First Bath and GOODBYE to the NICU

 some last little NICU pics-

 He woke up this morning and was feeling and breathing GREAT-- so that took him off the Cpap machine and made sure he could suck 10 ccs of milk-- he did amazingly- and was out of the NICU before he was 24 hrs old

 because he had some troubles- he didn't get a bath and he was GROSS!

 He HATED his bath at first

 and turned BRIGHT RED

 and then decided that he LOVED it-- I think it was the wires being gone--

 I can't stand this boy's adorableness!!!!
