there was an Easter Egg hunt at Publix and Emmy loved it! She was running around with and egg in each hand until she found the bananas- she promptly put down the eggs, grabbed a banana and was off and running again! *on an unrelated note~ I just got shocked from my rotten computer- the electricity isn't grounded here so I get shocked if I touch the border of the laptop... WOW.

Back to Dominica!

yes, besides getting his favorite girlies back- J got basically the best thing money can bring him from Puerto Rico... I wish I could credit the thoughtfullness to myself- but Jason has my mother to thank for his happiness- however-he can thank me for my cleverness- because I and I alone came up with wrapping it in clean diapers to keep it hot!

back to the pool we go-thankfully a local cow was getting a drink to remind us that Dominica is GREAT!

ok- so I didn't even know this about myself- but, come to find out, I am a WHALE WHISPERER- for real- Shamu loves me and nods when I do and even did a twirl! seriously! Jason made a snide comment that it was because he wanted to eat me- we'll not even address statements like that. PS this isn't the killer killer whale- I suspect he is in his own "punishment" tank somewhere.

Amber and Emmy fed the dolphines-yes you read correctly- Emmy adored the dead fish that the dophins would soon eat- they were her friends- then the evil dolphin ate her friend- she HATES dolphins...

but... she LOVES manatees- of course she does.

She also loved the stingrays- as in she wanted to swim with them- really~

she would pet them and clap and distract us and then pull a "fake out"

and try to shimmy her way into the pool with them.

We also went to the Shark Encounter and ate at the Shark Reef restaurant-

Emmy fell asleep for the WHOLE meal- bless her!

In the Happy Harbour there is a sea creature carosel-

I thought is was appropriate considering Emmy spends

more time in the water than she does on dry land!

Emmy loved Auntie Amber's shamu bar- it was the highlight of the show for her :)

she is very "Pete Repeat" at the moment and she also flushed the toilet on her own for the first time yesterday- yep! she is a grown up and AMAZING!!!

a Day FULL of FRIENDS!

so my day started with my college BEST FRIEND- Amber- moshi moshi.
yes we are still pretty cute even after she has 3, count them, 3 boys and I have Ems.

she was having medical problems during my wedding- so we hadn't seen each other since BEFORE then and so we had to catch up and she had to love my ring- which I love too= hence the best friendship (JK there are so many reasons that we are friends!)

After a HUGE day, we got home and at 10 pm my mom checked her facebook and there was a message from my best friend mission companion Cindy- seriously?! She was at the airport flying out- but I still got to her in time and met her hubby and we had a glorious reunion- it is 1 am here- therefore; I am not as cute-(why does it look like I am retaining water?) but believe me- we have seen MUCH uglier times in Brazil!
