Weirdy Wednesday (on Thursday)

LOCUST! (is that how you spell LARGE grasshopper? no matter!)
Emmy LOVED him.
Josh did too...
I know- send this picture into Ranger Rick right?!
Seeing this guy I have a whole new level of horror for what those poor settlers endured when the "hords of locust" would come and eat all of their crops.
I thought I should capture him on photo- just in case Josh missed...
Emmy's "pout face" she has now perfected it. Also - her outfit in this entire post is size 3-6 months-- a little weird to say the least.

Disney IS the happiest place on earth!

ahhhhh~ it was like being home!
The ranch at Fort Wilderness.
I LOVE this cute little princess outfit- it is my most favorite thing :)
Looking at the horses- Emmy says NEIGH!!!!!
Here we are loving the Ft. Wilderness pool and fruit snacks.
Here she is being a pill~ I wanted her to show off her Ariel suit- she wasn't in the mood.

Udder cover for $9.95 :)

http://www.uddercovers.com/ is giving nursing covers for "free" (the shipping is $9.95) they are cute- I normally don't do this kind of thing- but you would pay that much for fabric and supplies~ when you get to the site, go to shop now and then pick the one you like then at the bottom put in the promo code of "cute" (of course) anyways get one if you will need it in the future or are looking for a cheap shower gift!

Sugarbean 12 weeks~3 months!

Moving right along!! Our FIRST AMERICAN PREGO PIC!!! HOORAY :) We had our first OB appt and it was great- the temporary due date (until the ultrasound to confirm) is January 27, 2011... WHOOT! whoot!

What I am loving:
Being in the US and feeling like my baby has the care and food it needs
The baby belly that is SHOWING (I need to use a new outfit I think)
The rare but precious kicks
My nails and hair growing faster than ever
Not feeling so tired
That I am only throwing up once in a while

What I am NOT loving:
That I am STILL throwing up
That I am hungry all of the time and if I don't eat I puke
That I am now needing MOSTLY maternity shirts
That if I don't drink Gatorade I throw up

Dominica~American style!

Strolling in America is by choice AND a lot more enjoyable.
The US has iguanas too- only they are in cages- Emmy still loves them though :)

My all time FAVORITE pool!

Our friends have the world's most beautiful pool-
I have seen many a lovely home and amazing pool (parade's of homes included) and this one is by far my FAVORITE.
It has a splash pad too- let's just say that between the fountains and waterfalls IN the pool and this splash pad Emmy was in HEAVEN!
I can't wait for Jason to come home so we can all swim together :)

Emmy's wonderful water works!

what a fun time!
Who gets to play in a cool frog pool AND eat a popsicle at the same time?!

The hose was the highlight of the water party!
She kept drinking the water- and it was OK! ;)
I just love my little mouse- she is a DELIGHT!

Emmy loves her Uncle Josh...

Isn't this the cutest picture you've ever seen- I just love it.
Emmy got to wear Josh's clothes-

They have so much fun together.
Emmy looked and acted just a little "gansta" in Josh's clothes...
again- they are just so cute- I love what good friends they are (check out Emmy's STILL black toe- awful!)

Goodbye Dominica!

This man says hello to me at least 4 times a day- he is ALWAYS in a little shack by the port and he is ALWAYS playing dominioes- this was the first time that I had ever seen him away for his dominioes- no matter what the time of day. He ALWAYS managed to brighten my day and I have to say that life is a little sadder without his adoring daily hellos.
Saying goodbye to our crab friends for the last time. wa!
Our last Dominican family picture- I wish I were cuter- but it had to be included.
Saying goodbye to Bruno (the best driver on the island)
Enjoying the humidity and river for the last time.
the airport

The little puddle jumper we flew to St. Maarten on- LOVED it!
We are in the first row- and yes, that is the back of the plane- BUT this was the smothest flight.
Emmy is an angel traveller (on the planes especially) she was awake for maybe an hour total of the airplane rides.
She was not quite so amazing in the airport- she decided that she loved to fake fall, yell "oh no!" and then army crawl everywhere- not the ideal time for that discovery.
Oh, this is the pilot flying the puddle jumper (yes- I turned the flash off to not distract him) Capt. O'Brien did a great job and before we took off he turned around and yelled "ok! everybody buckled and ready? Well, ready or not~ here we go!"
Emmy's favorite thing is the horrible HUGE snake- it thankfully lives at Booky and Papa's but every time that we skyped them she had to say hello and it was literally the FIRST thing that she asked for when she walked in the house- then she had to sleep like this- for real?!

and THIS was my breakfast the next morning- again- Dominican friends I'm sorry.

and play we did...

When we got home, we overlapped with the St. George Borchardt's for 1.5 days~ and they were glorious! We ate popsicles in the tent,
read books with Booky and played,
went to the beach,
took pictures,
loved each other,
took girl pictures (here are all of the girls in our family so far!)
we took wagon rides and had a fishing contest- Josh won.
and even got down to the dock to feed the catfish.
The morning that they left we went to a wakeboarding park- sadly I couldn't do it because of Sugarbean ;)
Stari cut my hair (it's VERY cute!)
We played in the wakeboarding shop while Dan wakeboarded- we were all very impressed with his crazy jumps and I can WAIT for J to get here so he can do it too!
Emmy is going to be a great little wakeboarder.
