Cave Point

Enjoying the "contemplation trail" anyone else on the trail didn't get much contemplating in...
Booky and Emmy loving Cave Point.
There were inch worms- or "bows" as Emmy calls all bugs- excitedly.
and my personal favorite was the bumper crop of sun ripened raspberries- there is NOTHING better in the berry world :)

Enjoying life...

My Grandpa's driveway- and front lawn- love it.
My newest favorite pic of Ems- Doesn't she just look like a little cherub?!
fun fields.
Taking a little break- when she is tired she still just lays down wherever she is at-- I should save this for weirdy wed.
More of that field- it was too much- the blue sky- soft plants- occational flower- the corn fields next store- the woods in front and behind...
Wind chimes are VERY fun...

National Geographic Wisconsin moments.

a sweet little daisy.
Queen Anne's lace- one of the 100000 beautiful wild flowers that are EVERYWHERE.
I honestly felt like I was in Eden.

My most favorite bug :)

A horrible little toad- that Josh caught and Dave took pics of- I liked him.

FROGS!!!

They grow them LARGE in WI- oh yes they do.

Emmy was VERY brave and loved the mama frog and all of her babies.

Don't worry- he lived...

I was brave too!

Lake Michigan!

Lake Michigan was GORGEOUS- it was just like the Carribean Sea- minus 35 degrees, spiney sea urchins and tropical fish ;)
Seboygan beach- loved it!

SWINGS!

One of the many things that we LOVED about Wisconsin was the parks!
and SWINGS!!! (Emmy's new favorite word- the best is that it is always followed by an excited weeeeeee)
Cedarburg Park- great times- so many great times :)
Sheboygan park- ah! a Swing that also is a horse- Emmy prayers were answered!

Emmy LOVES Wisconsin!

Yes, please note that the lovey had to ride the lawn mower too :)
We smelled flowers- and loved them!
We were attacked by mosquitoes--the one negative- but this was in the woods- thankfully by the house they had sprayed- so life was nice.
more flowers...
GORGEOUS!
Emmy thought that summertime in WI could be her new favorite place- and I might agree with her!

a girl and her horses :)

Emmy loves this horse (designed for small babies) I love it because she thinks it's great and she looks like she is all legs- so funny!

Here she is playing with Josh's little horses- she would count and then yell Emmy and neigh-
It was fun to see her making believe- this was the first time with anything besides a baby doll.

The Serpentarium with the Cub Scouts= gReAt times!

Emmy with one of the Cub's sisters- MCkalynn :)
LOVING the turtles- LOVING them-
This is where they "milk" the snakes- here are the titles of who they milked...
Waiting for the milking.
Emmy thought it was the funnest thing.
Touching a non poisionous snake- Emmy was very brave put her hand right out.
See the cobra behind us!?
The best part is that Animal Planet was there filming the whole thing for a show that will air after Christmas- we had to sign a release form saying that we were happy to be on TV!
This was CRAZY to watch- I felt like I was watching Animal Planet- ha! this is the cobra
Eastern Diamond Back Rattler!
Western Diamond back rattler.
Cottonmouth.
This was Emmy's face during the actual milking- she kept saying "BITE"!
