Saying goodby to Auntie Amber for a long while

Because we are headed to Kansas City and it's not the Borchardt year for Christmas and because Amber is going on a year long mission all over the world-we won't see her for a while!
So we had to have a goodbye lunch!
Amber's lunch date
They both wore green ;)
High five!!!
No- wait! Pound it! Fist bump!!
Oh- and some yumo cupcakes

Moving moments

Papa and uncle Dave came up to save us during the move- thank heavens!!!
We ate
We cleaned and packed a LOT- the girls were in charge of the cabinet fronts and then they tied this ribbon on ceremoniously - I love them
And ate some more!!! You can't bring ice cream-- so, it was a party!

What my floor looked like- note to self. Pack table LAST.
Poor Cavan- he always has everything stolen or removed from him.
Bonding time ;)

Callan- Emmy put her bow in his hair and he was already sucking on a pink bink. Ha!

Goodbyes are the worst

Whether is forever
For a short time
Or not so short of a time
Goodbyes really are the worst

Road trip X2!!

Jason is driving this beast across country. The truck we ordered broke down- they only had the next size up available (no extra charge) - which is good because we easily fit all of our stuff and also good because I feel happy knowing Optimus prime is keeping both him and Emmy safe as they drive across the country together...
Dave is in the pilot with Ellie - bless him! The last time I called, they were belting scripture scouts and eating candy!
At the same time, the boys, papa and I headed to Florida!
We will fly to Kansas City the day after tomorrow to be reunited in love and glory ;)

Letting go of Cray our crayfish.

We've had Cray forever and we decided he would be a LoT happier in the river.
Emmy decided she should be the one who released him.

Setting him free! They were so happy to say goodbye ;)

Our last river walk *snif!

Uncle Dave got to come with us though!

Our favorite rock skipping spot- Dave was as taken with the place as we are.

Ellie caught her traditional daddy long legs and named her "Milipa" at least she is consistent.
Saying goodbye to my favorite place in Columbus.  Every place we go has fun spots- but this is an all time favorite of mine- so many happy moments spent on this river walk.

This little precious angel

He is a little sleepy-- which is so helpful during our packing crazy life! He will wake up for a few quick smile and then it's back to dreamland
