Valentine's 2015

On Valentine's Day Jason had to work-- so I got to make his roses with 4 little helpers-- so there was a little of that.

- little of flowers-- which I'm in love wirh1 so so gorgeous

Lots of snuggles

And just a ton of love

So all in all it was a success

The night ended with the worlds best sugar cookies (swig copy cat) - retry darn good.

Valentine's Eve

Jason was on call-- which just means that he has to carry a pager all night long and may or may not be on the phone--

Valentine's eve-- mostly on the phone

We went to the store and got ice cream to eat with chocolate sauce and flour to make sugar cookies

I also sold out Santa Fe-- it was so sad to see my favorite car to date go. But we needed the money so that part was great!

I was headed toward the check out-- and looked in the cart- and found 11 lbs of bacon-- how Callan snuck that in- I'll never know

Valentine parties!

Ellie had a little valentine preschool party

They all made their Disney princess valentines-- Emmy made one for Callan-- he promptly ate the end of it for no reason at all.

Emmy made her mailbox! It was so cute and painted and sewn-- so you can imagine how excited she was about it

Emmy walked around the entire classroom with Cavan- totally showing off that she had a baby and could hold him and walk. It was so cute

I love that we are invited to her parties-- it's always so fun!

Ellie felt especially beautiful and kept posing for the camera

Callan spent 4% of the time trying to steal everyone's food and the other 96% playing with those blocks!

A bad day in pictures...take two- Callan is sleeping on my lap and just deleted it in one of his flails!

So happy he could only get his hands on chaulk

Cavan loves the smoked squid jerky Uncle Dave sent from Asia...he also loves open mouth kissing me and blowing raspberries all over me- he doesn't let a little thing like reconstituted smoked squid stop him from instensely covering me with kissesl.

All the kids love cheese and do this-- but this time it was Callan

My sink looked like this

Several bags looked like this-- and I had to chase several food items down the road

Then living room looks like this-- and I've already cleaned it. Twice.

Yep- he is standing on the baby gate.

That was my stash of gum from my diAper bag

And there is Callan- showing off the face that he is on gum stick number 7

Cavan popped - and by pooped I mean blew out of a onesie, shirt and sweatshirt, jeans and both layers of his car seat.

I didn't let the fact that the car seat cover was being run through the wash for the second time stop me from going out- and Cavan didn't let it stop him from being his usual messy self either

So- I know that all of these are silly little things-- that are at most, tiny first world problems-- but I've had a "rough" couple of days lately -- and its felt a little Chinese drip torturey. I just thought I should document a day-- and it made me laugh that it was a silly one
