 the first thing thing this boy did was fill his pants and fall down a hill... of course he did!!

I had high hopes of actually getting a photographer to take our pictures this year... but our resisdency bank roll is not allowing it! sooo I did my own shoot- kids only-- which might be better anyways ;) and am delighted!! we are sending out Christmas cards for the first time and I can't wait-- it's like we are real people!!

Visiting Santa #1 2013

We got to visit Santa already!! Obviously- it was spur of the moment- but went very well and was a good dry run ;) 

It was all about this boy for a minute there ;)

And then the focus turned to Santa!!

We just love this park!! 

The bat house!!

So the girls watched the Wild Kratts episode involving bats- and how the great horned owls eat them and then on a different show there was a bat eating centipede!!! Let's just say the girls were concerned-- Emmy's solution... A bat house!!! We made a plan- went to lowes- got a piece of Wood-- came home and our talented daddy made it- he is amazing 

The girls got to paint it ;) 

Emmy's newest obsession is checking the bat box ;) no visitors yet ;)
