I found her at the top of the stairs like this- in the hall, one boot on, different Jammies than she "went to bed with", and the counterfeit binky that she had obviously snuck.

Cavanaugh Jay update

Tonight he had his first kid babysitter- what a brave boy! He actually cut off her circulation in her leg- it was hilarious

Callan's birthday day!

Callahan's birthday was an all day partay! He started with watching Daniel Tiger while in the bathtub (on birthdays we get to do whatever we want)

Ellie actually had a friend's birthday party- so it was festivities all around

Emmy caught callan a preying mantis for his birthday- he named her "bob jabber" and the girls discovered her gender because she showed them her beautiful wings.

For his birthday night we went to power play- 

He picked a candy necklace as his special treat

Elles might not have the hang of that gun...

The great part of a 2 yr old birthday party is that we never have spend a token- they all just can pretend play until the cows come home! 

Jason did the ski ball with them and they loved it! It's the one callan chose as his special game to play

Call me crafty 1 -- the changing table

So I found this changing table at the Salvation Army on a total score day-

I re covered it with comic book pics of the avengers- callan adores it! The comic book guy wasn't delighted when I asked for cheap comic books to cut up... He looked at me like I was crazy.

This beast was labelled "funky couch-$20"

Jason (with a little help from me- but not much) re covered it-with fabric from the Salvation Army for a grand total of $7 and I painted the buttons-

This craft was simple- but NOT easy. The frame was filled with my favorite huge mirror- the one my kids broke into a million pieces.

Then Jason and I put batting and fabric then sewed through for the buttons 
Then put it in the frame- and I adore it-love love love 

Callan turned two!!

When I asked the boy what he wanted for his birthday- he yelled "donuts!!!" I have to say- I was delighted.

He takes his donughts very seriously 

Opening presents was fun for everyone! And considering he was so sick for his birthday last year- this year was 100% better!

Emmy is such a little crazy- I brought this bag into the car to clean it out- she then popped out in it- little silly
