We made it to MICHIGAN!!

After driving for 13 hours- we made it to Michigan!! The girls both remain the world's best travelers.
They were a little worse for the wear-- at several points-- but that's part of the fun.
We stopped at a craft fair-- to stretch our legs-- it was VERY fun.
We went to Walmart-- to get necessities before we unpacked-- not the brightest idea--
Thankfully, we have the best sports ever.
 view from the front door.

 views of the lake.

 feeding the ducks
 swimming the the ducks

Ems kept asking if there were alligators, sharks, whales, snakes, and jellyfish.
 fun in the sun.
wildlife! ducks and fish-- life could not get better.
lunch is now always a picnic!
bringing the towels up--such good little helpers.

 bathing beauties.

The night we got there our friends the Horselys where waiting with a FEAST-- I was especially delighted because I've been drooling over her menus for years now-- AND we haven't seen each other since Dominica-- it was such a fabulous reunion-- the best surprise was that the Princes came too-- another bff family that we haven't seen since the island-- skype doesn't count.
The last time we were together, there was a total of 2 children... this time there were 6 and 3/4 -- are you serious? It hasn't been that long...
The Princes brought homemade ice cream-- something else I've been drooling over for a while-- needless to say it was a GRAND night filled with friends and food-- ah! heaven!

the LAST test (that matters)

Jason is DONE with CK- Step 2--- we are over the moon--
The girls don't even know what to do with a Daddy who doesn't study.
J took the test-- we celebrated that night by visiting yet another park-- feeding ducks and playing imaginary baseball-- it was amazing to not have to rush home... the next day we left the gorgeous South and drove up to Gorgeous Michigan--

Twin cousins!

Asher and Ledger will be riding home in style--

While I packed and sewed...

The girls took full advantage of when I had to pack and sew Aunt KK's twins' carseat covers...they found glitter and fairy dusted the WORLD.
They found and ate their own snacks...
They found and painted just about every inch of their bodies- minus their nails...

Crafts for Callahan!

the headbands are for the girls-- I was just modelling.
i already posted these-- but the pee pee teepees-- I 've had several friends say this is a must have-- we'll see!
Emmy didn't really understand what they were for ;)
 Ties for the handsome prince.
Emmy loving on taggies for Callan, Ledger and Asher.
 Here he is!
I know- he is soooo cute!!!
And what baby post isn't complete without at least one fuzzy pic of genitals?-- i ask you.
