We made it to MICHIGAN!!

After driving for 13 hours- we made it to Michigan!! The girls both remain the world's best travelers.
They were a little worse for the wear-- at several points-- but that's part of the fun.
We stopped at a craft fair-- to stretch our legs-- it was VERY fun.
We went to Walmart-- to get necessities before we unpacked-- not the brightest idea--
Thankfully, we have the best sports ever.
 view from the front door.
 kitchen
 view from the kitchen

 girls' bedrm
bathrm--there is another one-- but for some reason, I didn't get a pic.
 master.
 view from the deck

 the deck.
eating the bread for the ducks and fish

 view from the back
 the pier.
 views of the lake.

 feeding the ducks
 swimming the the ducks

Ems kept asking if there were alligators, sharks, whales, snakes, and jellyfish.
 fun in the sun.
wildlife! ducks and fish-- life could not get better.
lunch is now always a picnic!
bringing the towels up--such good little helpers.

 bathing beauties.

The night we got there our friends the Horselys where waiting with a FEAST-- I was especially delighted because I've been drooling over her menus for years now-- AND we haven't seen each other since Dominica-- it was such a fabulous reunion-- the best surprise was that the Princes came too-- another bff family that we haven't seen since the island-- skype doesn't count.
The last time we were together, there was a total of 2 children... this time there were 6 and 3/4 -- are you serious? It hasn't been that long...
The Princes brought homemade ice cream-- something else I've been drooling over for a while-- needless to say it was a GRAND night filled with friends and food-- ah! heaven!

Your house is AWESOME!! Swimming in your lake next week? :) Gosh, I could even maybe lay my boys down over there and get a tan!! I'm so glad you found a cool place... I think you're going to love it here!
It was wonderful to see you guys too. I gabbed Wyatt's ear off after about Dominican friends just being different. It's such an easy friendship.

I'm so jealous about ALL of it! Getting to hang out with the Princes and the Horsleys, living in a cute house BY A LAKE! How fair is that? What are you doing in Michigan? How long are you there? Is Jason applying for Residencies? Did he get one in Michigan? More info! And your girls are just beautiful, as always. Don't have a name for our baby yet. Hopefully we figure it out soon. It changes daily and has throughout the entire pregnancy; we've gone through about 30 different names. Wish I already had my mind made up about it like you do. I love your baby boy's name. It's PERFECT!

Yea! You are finally here! Can't wait to see you. In fact Jesse says something about meeting up with you guys everyday. Great score on the lake house.
