First GNO!!!

When the men are away... Girls night out!!!!
I figure it's never too early to teach the art of a GNO. We helped the boys get ready- waved goodbye sadly and then as they drove away and were out of earshot... The party because with a scream cheer! Whoot whoot!!! We turned up the music- did our hair, put on our fancy shoes and they even got to wear makeup!!
Then we met our friends at pie five
Where she even had red lipstick- why not go big right?!

I love that you can spy Fischer - the little outcast in the corner of all of these pics-

Cavan - our little outcast- I feel so sorry for the little boys during things like this- but they will join in next year- and he will miss the red lipstick kisses- I'm sure!

Pretty girl
Then we went to Box Trolls- the girls adored it- but it was scarier than I expected. (And I read the reviews online even)
Besties GNO 2014-
We then are ice cream and rented a red box- went home and had a sleepover in my bed- they made it 10 minutes in to the movie and were out! Girls Night Out 2014- EPIC

Preschool!!

Ellie and i are doing a co op preschool this year- it's been grand-- because I hadn't taught yet. Bwahahaha. But, I had to pay the piper and taught on tues and thurs of this last week- it was VeRY fun- but I also am happy that I have 10 weeks before I teach again!
The first day our letter was "j"
We made jelly fish and jack o' lanterns- made juice and ate apple Jacks- jumped on the tramp and jammed to music... And when asked about what the preschool letter was (literally 7 minutes after we were done) Ellie replied "ummm let me think... Pause.... Oh! It was ace!"

Who knew that pink blocks could construct a gun that shoots "war mud and poison"

There was a star of the show...
And he was epically loved and "helped"
K was for kite and kitchen-- so we colored and painted kites and baked and decorated cookies- these were DELICIOUS!

First Father and Son camp out!!!

The boys went shopping for their favorite snack to get ready- they came out with hotdogs- Callan's favorite.  Perfect campfire food for a 2 year old.

And off they went!!
And then I got this text during our girls night out- ha!! I can't wait to hear the tales of fun when they get home today!

Crazy hair day at school!!!

Thank heavens for Pinterest!!! I read on it that chalk with water is a great temporary color- it was! And that some lady put a cone in her daughters hair to make it awesome- so, necessity being the greatest of inventors- I put an empty toilet paper rio in hers.
Everyone loved it! All the other kids thought she was awesome and "sooo funny"
The crazy hair girls

Ellie was feeling sick and didn't go to pteschool- but she obviously needed crazy hair too- and I happened to have more than one to roll
