Emmy- first day- pics from my phone- more cutie pics to come

Here she is!!! My most favorite kindergartener
The finished product
The alarm went off- and I had to disturb this- nooooo
Ems got up easily- as did Callahan- Ellie I had to carry asleep to the car...
As we parked the Kienes pulled up next to us! Tender mercy- the atmosphere was a lot lighter and more excited with friends around!
The little sisters wanted in on the picture action!
We walked in- she went right to her cubby and hung up her backpack
Then we went and she sat at her place and made friends with the girl next to her.    She did so well and was so brave!! She stayed strong until I was at the door and she waved and said "bye mom!" And I saw a tremor- I turned back as I walked out and she had put her little head down and was crying- it was horrible- and took everything I had to not go give her one last kiss. But I knew it wouldn't make it better- so I prayed and cried my way out of the school. Luckily, Marilyn was still there saying goodbye to aurora and she gave her a little hug and she was stopping before she left. The night before she was crying and said "my heart is literally breaking" I felt exactly the same way.
I bawled all the way home- and Ellie finally said "mommy, we can still have fun- can you not cry all the time?" I love her!!
I picked her up and she was great! Grinning ear to ear and declaring that she loved school- here she is in her victory pose. I couldn't be prouder or love that little girl more.

We are ready for the big day!

- so as soon as the girls fell asleep- I went to walmart and got a few things for Emmy's big day and Jason's birthday!!!

Emmy has been using her jitter glitter that she got from auntie amber and she has been begging me for a locket for ever- so I got her one and put a little jitter glitter in it as well- she is also starting the day off right with healthy donuts- but seriously, I figured that she will for sure eat them and feel like they are a very special treat
Jason has a meeting with his department on Thursdays- and so I made them a treat for his b day- mini cupcakes in the shape of a white coat-
Pretty cute for 2 am/ I hope he loves his little surprise.

This is her outfit- she is in love with it and has stickers from her auntie amber package all over black shirt- we are as ready as we can be- and because it's now 2:45-- and I've cried all day long- I'm off to the shower and then bed for an hour or two! Ha!

The last day of summer "Emmy Day!"

Kindergarten starts in about 6 hours - so yesterday/today was Emmy day! She got to make every decision of the day- every.one.
The day started with the Kiene girls coming over to visit- they played for about an hour and a half and then we headed to the park- where Emmy asked that I push her on the swings- endlessly
We then went home and a butterfly landed and ems and started eating the sugar on her hand from her cereal snack
Emmy loved that the butterfly thought she was a flower
We then found helicopter leaves-
The funnest thing to play with.

Then we went to SAMs where they had pizza and an ICEE- over the moon- doesn't begin to describe them

We then went swimming and out to Emmys favorite place to eat- the evening ended with an FHE about germs- and fathers blessings- and a rousing game of hide and seek.  We both had a break down cry fest- but then we read a book that Booky sent- "the kissing hand" and she fell asleep giggling.
