Our Panama City Beach work retreat VACAY and hand foot and mouth disease...

I've heard of people having hand foot and mouth before and thought-- what's the big deal? if you ever- EVER here of someone having this- run, do not walk in the opposite direction- it is awful.
there is a raging fever and coldlike symptoms that accompany the rash-- oh and open sores in your mouth and throat too.- the worst.
Ellie actually got it first-- but Callan won for strength and duration
he got it just in time to give it to his Uncle Dave and then go to our work retreat-- how fun.
MUCH of the time was spent inside our amazing suite-- which thankfully- really was amazing.
Elles was mostly recovered by this time and loved her life-- she just napped a little more often.

Emmy never got it-- and adored EVERY second.

 those sandy little cheeks!
this retreat marked the end of Jason's "hard part" of our transitional year-- and was our little vacay was his first day off in over 30 days...

 the masterpiece!

what was left after we let Callan loose-- literally nothing.
he refused to go-- until they got past where the waves break= and then he was aching to go.
that's our hotel behind us-- GORGEOUS!!!

 the pool was amazing
when I said suite-- I meant it.
 our view- yes please.
Panama City was such a fun little place! It had a ton of these "token beach shops"
our first real pic of our family of 6!!!! Cavan is hidden in JAson's moby

the cutest.

Free school lunch!

We went to check out the elementary school and found out about free school lunch during the summer "because hunger doesn't take a vacation" though I disagree with this on so many levels-- I thought it would be fun for the girls- and it was!
Emmy loved that she could get her own food and do everything by herself- she is so ready for this new adventure.
Ellie thought it was fun too-- but declared that she was not yet ready for school.
I am so happy that I got to capture her very first "food trick in a cafeteria" I'm sure this is the first of many- all of which I will miss- but I got to experience the first one-- which is always the best!

Ok this hair is Ludicrous.

The Pompador hairstyle is so hot right now...
Luckily-he looks like a cross between Adam Levine, a laminate, and the pharaoh's son in the movie "Prince of Egypt"
Also- his head has grown a little faster than his hair-- so you can see the peach fuzz hairline and the birth hairline
And there is one section, over his righ eye, that grows straight down~ George McFly style
I've painted it in a slightly negative light-- but really, I love it- or I wouldn't talk about it. So cute and he really is pure perfection!

Love so much when this happens

Callahan boy

He makes himself at home-- table manners... Not so much
It was very fun to just a have the boys for a few days-- I can't believe I ever felt like my plate was full with 2!
I realized I have never posted a pic with Callan's eyes closed- except sleeping- and I love the way he blinks- weird- yes I know- but he looks like a muppet (in a cute way) with his eyebrows raised and whole face "engaged"
Enjoying a gorgeous Florida evening- he thought he was so cool with the window rolled down

Saying goodbye to his best buddy Papa at the airport... Meh!

Cavan times

I love that he still curls up like a little newborn - and his little rolls
And his crazy toes
He got this awful rash for less than 24 hrs. Hated it!
Just enjoying.

I couldn't decide which was my fav of him talking to me-- and I've been doing a LOT of collages- so I put on several
That silly Hair!

His dimples!
Just hanging with papa
I love that he sleeps like one of those creepy baby dolls- I promise I had a doll that looked exactly like this pic as a kid
