One of those days...

Today was one of those days... that you NEVER forget-
definately my favorite day on the island so far! It started
at the market; with me tearing up because I have less
than a year before I go back to the US and I just love this
island and it's very different but endearing people. Then
we finished the day at #1 Beach with GREAT GREAT
friends- how could we ask for more? :)

Holy posts, I love it! Was all that creole festiveness seriously at the market the one day all semester I don't go?! I love how Emmy's little outfit matches, and love the couple and family pics on the beautiful beach, wish we could have been there.

I love her little outfit! I wish we could have been with you for the steal drum concert. They are amazing. I will have to go to #1 beach some time soon.

I love to see Emmy in this outfit cuz she thinks she's Dominican! I told you that the people and the island would get under your skin and you would cry when it came time to leave!! How can you not fall in love with a place that beautiful and simple!! I am envious! You probably don't even know that gas went up 33 cents yesterday! Nor do you have to care-that's worth a lot!

Liz your posts are wonderful...
The saying of "half empty or half full" does not relect the excellence or enthusiasm of an attitude that makes the most out of the moment and the memorys that will last a life time from them.
The fun is the love of the people you meet and the shared joy of being together...One is never away from that which you love.
